L.E.A.P.: Leadership, Ethics and Purpose

How do we make the most of college? What does it mean to “live the good life”? How do we discover our purpose and remain true to ourselves while allowing others to impact our character?

Over the course of four days, led by five current students and the staff of The Program for Leadership and Character, students will reflect on virtues such as courage, justice, empathy, and humility and do a close examination of how student leaders can have an impact at Wake Forest and their larger communities by knowing their character and leading with it. We will engage in reflective discussions, Calls to Conversation, art workshops, games, and collective team-building activities, and visit the International Civil Rights Center Museum in Greensboro. You will have space to set goals for who you hope to become in college and how you can engage your community and lead toward flourishing by becoming that person. Come build meaningful relationships and friendships of accountability as you prepare to begin your tenure as a Wake Forest student. You might not leave with all the answers, but you will have some of the tools you need to live fully into life’s questions.
