Responsibility comes in many forms. Make sure you complete them.

We have taken a great deal of care to plan a smooth introduction to Wake Forest for the Class of 2027. It’s important that you consult this page regularly from May until Move-In and take care of all tasks by their deadlines.

New Student Receptions

From early June to early August, receptions for new students and their families will be held across the country. The 2023 New Student Receptions will be offered virtually and also in person in selected local areas. We hope that every incoming family will join us at one of the virtual options (June 27 or July 17), and that you’ll also register for a local reception should one be offered in your area.

Registration is required so we can have an accurate count of attendees.

Family orientation activities begin on August 23 and will conclude by 7:30 p.m. on August 24. Families should plan to depart on the 24th or 25th. Move-in assistance is available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and check-in is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fall in the Forest

New students cannot learn everything about what it takes to have a successful college experience in a few days before the semester even starts. Therefore, new student orientation programming continues through the fall. In this way, you can continue to learn while you are experiencing what it is actually like to be a student at Wake Forest.
