Transfer Student Checklist

Transferring to the Forest

Making the transition to the Forest.

Academic Counselors from the Office of Academic Advising will contact transfer students via their Wake Forest email to schedule a time to assist with fall registration. This heavily depends on transfer students’ timely submission of transfer credit requests through the transfer credit portal and their subsequent approvals.

WIN → Virtual Campus → Your Student Records → Transfer Credit Evaluation

Although transfer students should familiarize themselves with the registration portal, they will not need to participate in self-registration during the summer; rather they should work closely with their assigned Academic Counselor.

We hope that every incoming family will join us at one of the virtual options (June 27 or July 17), and that you’ll also register for a local reception should one be offered in your area.

Fall in the Forest

New students cannot learn everything about what it takes to have a successful college experience in a few days before the semester even starts. Therefore, new student orientation programming continues through the fall. In this way, you can continue to learn while you are experiencing what it is actually like to be a student at Wake Forest.

Your To-Do List

  • Complete Part 2 of the Alcohol and Other Substance Misuse Prevention Online Course (AlcoholEdu for College: Primary) (Available 45 days after completion of Part 1. Deadline is October 25th.) This will be sent to your WFU email.
  • Complete Part 2 of the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Course (Available 45 days after completion of Part 1. Deadline is October 25th.) This will be sent to your WFU email.
