Mail Services for New Students
Student Mailboxes: The Basics
- Student mailboxes will be assigned on August 1.
- How to see your mailbox assignment in Workday.
Sending Mail and Packages to Campus

- See how to address mail and packages to your student.
- If shipping items for move-in, Mail Services requests that families do not ship mail or packages more than two weeks prior to their arrival.
- Please note: Due to traffic and parking issues on Move-in Day, no deliveries can be made on Tuesday, August 18.
How Students Get Their Packages
- Although students may receive a USPS confirmation that their package has been delivered, this notification only confirms delivery to a nearby post office. The package will still need to be transferred to the Wake Forest campus, received and processed by our Mail Services Department.
- To make students’ experience as efficient as possible, students should wait to receive an email confirmation from WFU Mail Services that their package has been processed.
- Package notification messages from Mail Services will indicate if the student has a package at the Mail Services Lobby or inside a parcel locker.
