Wake Forest University Reynolda Campus

Meet the cast of your next four years.

This summer, a series of receptions for new students in the Class of 2029 and their families will be held in person across the country in June, July and August. These receptions provide the perfect opportunity for the newest Demon Deacons to meet face-to-face before coming to campus in August. We hope that you’ll join us for an in-person reception, should one be offered in your home area or wherever you may be this summer!

Details, dates and registration information can be found on this page starting in May. You will also receive an email invitation for the Virtual Reception on June 24 (7:00-8:30 p.m. Eastern; it will be recorded) and in-person offerings as details are confirmed.

Please contact cunninj@wfu.edu with questions.

Virtual Reception – June 24

All new students and families are encouraged to attend the Virtual Reception on June 24 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. EST. The Virtual Reception will cover important information about: registering for classes, approaching residential living, advice from current students, and top tips for transitioning to college.

PLEASE NOTE: Information on how to join the Zoom Webinar will be sent to all registrants on June 23 (the day before the event) and it will also be posted on this page.

The Virtual Reception is setup in a Webinar format and will be recorded. If you’re not able to attend the live event, don’t worry! We’ll be posting a recording shortly after the event.

Regional Receptions (In-person)

We invite incoming students and their parents/families to attend the reception that is most convenient, whether it is in your hometown or elsewhere. Preregistration is required. Check this list frequently over the summer, as new dates and locations may be added.

Once all details are confirmed for a reception, the city name will appear in gold, indicating that it has a link to register for that event. Please click on the link to register.
