New Deac 101

Your Wake Forest Orientation

Our New Deac Orientation experience for students, has three main parts:

• New Deac 101, an online course in Canvas that all students will complete in the summer before arriving on campus, summer tasks and assessments. New Deac 101 is expected to launch in mid-July, and you will receive details about how to access the course and when each module will need to be completed. New Deac 101 contains information from more than 30 campus partner offices and will be essential preparation for your time at Wake Forest. 
• In-person Orientation activities during Move-In/New Deac Welcome Week. There will be a variety of in-person experiences for new and transfer students, as well as your parents/families.
