Student Involvement Fair

September 5

The Fall Student Involvement Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 5 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Poteat Field. Students will be able to meet many of Wake’s student organizations and learn how to get involved on campus and in the community.

Wake the Demons/First-Year Tailgate

August 30

The Wake Forest student body is invited to kick off the 2023 athletic season on Hearn Plaza at Wake the Demons! Come grab your exclusive t-shirt, hear from Coach Clawson, Athletic Director John Currie, and enjoy performances by the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black and Wake Forest spirit squads.

Learn the traditions of what it’s like to be a student inside Truist Field as the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black and the Wake Forest Spirit Squads teach you gameday cheers and chants. Students will also get an exclusive first-look at the 2023 football intro video!

The event will conclude with a special fireworks display over Hearn Plaza and FREE late night food trucks following the event. Instructions will also be provided to both Freshmen students on how to participate in the exclusive “Field Run” at Truist Field. Attendance highly encouraged – GO DEACS!

Kick off the 2023 football season on Thursday, August 31st against Elon.


Homecoming Weekend

October 20-22

Homecoming is fall reunion weekend for alumni, friends and students of Wake Forest. It includes the Homecoming football game against Pitt and activities organized by Student Union, Student Government, the Alumni Office and Athletics.

Family Weekend

September 22-24

Parents and families of Wake Forest students are invited to attend an exciting weekend including the football game against Georgia Tech, a variety of parent and family events, and numerous open houses and gathering opportunities.
