Overview
Orientation will begin on Thursday, August 20, and attendance is mandatory for all new students. See the 'Orientation Schedule' page for details. Please check the schedule for updates during the summer.
If you wish, you may sign up for one of the Pre-Orientation Programs. Four programs are being offered this year:
- Pre-School Conference, sponsored by Campus Ministry
- Wilderness to Wake, a wilderness adventure, sponsored by Outdoor Pursuits
- S.P.A.R.C., a volunteer experience, sponsored by Student Development
- Tour of Vienna, Austria, sponsored by the German and Russian department
Those programs are a great way to start your Wake Forest experience early and meet other students. Sign up now! These programs fill up fast.
You and your family are encouraged to make your travel plans early this summer. See the 'Travel Information' page for hotels, directions and airport transportation.
A number of receptions for new students and their families will be held in cities across the country this summer.
