Academic Survey
Please complete this brief online questionnaire by July 31 on the courses you have taken in high school and courses/areas of study you are interested in at Wake Forest.

Freshman Essay
Because you are about to enter into an important collaborative educational effort with Wake Forest, you are asked to reflect, in an essay, on your expectations of yourself and of the University over the next four years. For freshmen only.

Academic Planning Guide
During Orientation, you will meet with your faculty adviser and student orientation adviser to plan your first-semester courses. This guide will get you started by explaining the Basic and Divisional Requirements and taking you step-by-step through the things you need to consider as you plan your courses.

First Advising Meeting
Prior to your first advising meeting, complete this form and e-mail it to your faculty adviser.

Course Schedule
Consult the Course Schedule to see which courses are offered this semester.

Seminars
Most freshmen will take two seminar classes their first year, the First-Year Seminar and the Writing Seminar, one in the fall and one in the spring. Course descriptions are now available.

Required Immunizations
North Carolina law requires documentation of certain immunizations for students attending a North Carolina college or university.

Academic Accommodations
When a student with a disability is admitted, the University seeks to accommodate those needs.

Language Placement Test
Students who took French, Spanish, Italian, German or Latin in high school should take the language placement test online from home this summer. Placement tests in other languages may be taken during Orientation.

AP and IB Credit
If you have not already done so, you should request that any Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate scores be officially transmitted to Wake Forest as soon as possible.

Prior College-Level Work
If you completed college-level work prior to your high school graduation, you must complete this form in order for any course(s) to be considered for transfer credit.

FERPA
You and your parents should discuss this important document concerning release of your educational records.
