To Our Newest Demon Deacons –
I want to take a moment on behalf of Residence Life and Housing to say Welcome to Wake Forest. We are delighted that you have chosen to attend Wake! Your residential community will be a core part of your experience here and we would like to share some important information regarding what you can expect before your arrival.
New Student Move-In
We look forward to welcoming our newest Demon Deacons to campus on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. As you plan for this day, remember the following:
Encouraged Move-In Time Frames
In order to best manage traffic and expedite the move-in process for new students and their families, Residence Life and Housing is encouraging students to arrive during the following move-in time frames based on their housing assignment.
Preparing To Live In A Community
In the attached document you will find more information about our roommate agreement, which you will be filling out once you get to campus, and overall community expectations. We encourage you to begin thinking about what you expect in regards to your room and roommate relationship now, so that once you get to campus that conversation is more productive.
For more on expectations surrounding living in community at Wake Forest, please take time to read our Guide to Community Living.
The Faculty Fellows program is an exciting initiative for our first-year residence halls. Each first-year residence hall has a team of Wake Forest faculty members who will engage the building community in various events and programs. Below are the Faculty Fellows for each residence hall:
